Address: Kennebunkport, Maine
Type: Private Residence / Coastal Home
Completion: 2024
A seaside home where every detail feels intentional—sun-bleached tones, aged woods, linen textures, and the rhythm of the Atlantic just beyond the window. This retreat balances refinement and comfort, creating a sanctuary shaped by the tides.

Where Light Meets Timber
The vaulted ceilings of the main living space are supported by exposed timber beams that stretch overhead like the ribs of an old ship. Anchored by a circular chandelier and framed by picture windows, the room feels both expansive and grounded. The linen-covered seating in soft cream and driftwood tones welcomes moments of conversation or quiet reflection.

A Hearth that Speaks in Stone
A floor-to-ceiling limestone fireplace stands as the heart of the room. Its sculptural form draws the eye upward, while the textured stone echoes the coastal cliffs outside. Paired with soft woven rugs and aged wood furnishings, it becomes a focal point that radiates both warmth and calm.

Dining Along the Shore
The dining area continues the home’s palette of seafoam whites, weathered woods, and matte finishes. A long table—surrounded by upholstered chairs in creamy linen—sits beneath a modern pendant that casts a warm glow. This is a space for long dinners, storm-watching, and gathering close as the ocean hums in the distance.

A Kitchen for Quiet Mornings
With its walnut wood cabinetry, marble surfaces, and soft brass hardware, the kitchen speaks in a language of understated luxury. Open shelving displays stoneware and everyday objects that feel handpicked, not styled. A generous island invites slow mornings and easy conversation.

Corners of Stillness
Tucked into a corner, a round breakfast table and cane chairs face wide windows, where morning light pools across the floor. These smaller, more intimate spaces carry the same intentionality as the larger rooms—layered, natural, and deeply quiet.

The Ocean, Always Present
Throughout the home, the Atlantic is never far—seen through windows, reflected in materials, felt in the breeze that slips through the open doors. In this house, coastal living is not a theme. It’s a presence. A rhythm. A way of being.
