Billing Terms & Conditions

1. Accepted Payment Methods

Ardenel accepts the following secure payment methods:

  • Visa

  • MasterCard

  • American Express

  • Discover

  • Diners Club

  • PayPal

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • iDEAL

At this time, we do not support installment payment options such as Shop Pay Installments, Affirm, or Klarna.


2. Billing Currency

All orders are billed in USD, unless otherwise noted at checkout.
Your bank or payment provider may apply additional conversion fees, which are outside of Ardenel’s control.


3. Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax is automatically calculated at checkout based on your shipping destination, in accordance with Shopify’s tax system.


4. When You Will Be Charged

  • Payment is collected at the time your order is placed.

  • Orders will only be processed after payment is successfully completed.

  • Ardenel does not store or process card information—payments are handled through secure, PCI-compliant providers.


5. International Duties & Import Fees

  • For customers within the continental United States, Ardenel covers duties and import-related fees.

  • For remote regions or international locations (including islands or overseas territories), duties may apply and will be the responsibility of the customer.

Ardenel covers duties where applicable; otherwise, orders follow DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) terms.


6. Refunds & Billing Adjustments

All refunds follow Ardenel’s Refund & Return Policy.

Refund Fee Rules

  • If a refund is fully approved by Ardenel, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method, and Ardenel will absorb the payment processing fee.

  • If a refund involves customer-responsible costs (e.g., return shipping or restocking fees), the customer will be responsible for those fees and any associated processing charges.

Refund Processing Timeline

Once a refund is issued, the exact posting time depends entirely on your bank or payment provider.
Typical timelines range from 7–14 business days.
Ardenel processes refunds promptly, but financial institutions control the final posting time.


7. Order Verification & Fraud Prevention

To ensure a secure shopping experience, Ardenel may conduct additional verification for certain orders. This may include:

  • Confirming billing and shipping details

  • Verifying high-value or high-risk orders

  • Requesting supplemental information

Orders that fail verification may be delayed or canceled with a refund.


8. Pricing Accuracy & Adjustments

We strive for accuracy in all product listings and pricing. However:

  • Prices may change without notice

  • Promotions apply only within published timeframes

  • Ardenel reserves the right to correct any pricing errors and adjust or cancel affected orders after notifying the customer


9. Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment fails:

  • Your order will not be created or fulfilled

  • You may attempt checkout again with a different payment method

  • Your bank may temporarily place an authorization hold

10. Subscriptions & Recurring Charges

Ardenel does not offer subscription or auto-renewal services.
No recurring or automatic charges will ever be applied to your payment method.


11. Billing Disputes

We encourage customers to contact our team prior to filing a bank or PayPal dispute, as we can often resolve issues more quickly and efficiently.

Chargebacks filed without prior communication may result in account or order restrictions.
If you file a chargeback without contacting us first, your payment provider will require both parties to submit evidence, which can lead to a lengthy review period of up to 30 days or more. During this time, the funds may be held or delayed, and the process can become unnecessarily complicated. In addition, frequent chargebacks may cause your profile to be flagged as a high-risk customer across multiple merchants.
