Social Responsibility

Our Commitment to Ethical Sourcing

At Ardenel, we are firmly committed to upholding human rights and international labor standards. Through a strict Supplier Code of Conduct, we fully support the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act and other global initiatives aimed at eliminating unlawful and unethical labor practices, including forced labor and human trafficking.

Verification

As part of our supplier agreements, we require all partners to certify compliance with Ardenel’s Supplier Standards of Business Practice. These standards strictly prohibit the use of child labor, involuntary labor, or any form of human trafficking.

Auditing

We regularly communicate and review our standards with all suppliers. To ensure compliance, we conduct both scheduled and unannounced audits of supplier facilities. These inspections confirm adherence to our labor and ethics policies, including our zero-tolerance approach to child labor and human trafficking.

Certification

Suppliers must submit annual certifications confirming that their operations and supply chains are free from forced labor and human trafficking. They are also required to operate in full compliance with all applicable local and international laws.

Internal Accountability

Ardenel holds all employees to strict legal and ethical standards. Any team member found to be in violation of laws prohibiting forced labor or trafficking is subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Training & Awareness

We provide ongoing training to employees involved in product sourcing, ensuring they understand our standards and are equipped to identify and respond to potential labor concerns. This includes education on recognizing risks and taking preventive action across our supply chain.

Corrective Action

If a supplier is found to be in violation of our Supplier Standards, Ardenel reserves the right to end the business relationship or require immediate remediation of the issue.
