Where Light and Texture Speak

Set amidst the golden foliage of Hudson Valley, Autumn Hollow Residence is a study in restraint and richness. This home does not shout for attention—it hums quietly in harmony with the land that surrounds it. Anchored in natural materiality and warm-toned minimalism, every room feels both familiar and contemplative, like a slow exhale on a crisp fall afternoon.

Living

The main living room unfolds as a sanctuary of softness and structure. Grand steel-framed windows invite in the filtered autumn sun, casting gentle shadows on the whitewashed walls. Low-profile seating in creamy upholstery gathers around a deep-stained coffee table, while exposed ceiling beams echo the surrounding woodland with their rustic heft. A textured rug underfoot and an abstract painting in muted rust tones ground the space in quiet sophistication.

Kitchen

The kitchen speaks the language of old-world craftsmanship with contemporary cadence. Cabinetry in creamy matte lacquer pairs with honed marble counters, both luminous and grounded. A waterfall island in dark oak adds weight and contrast, balanced by a pair of mid-century stools in woven cane. Natural light pours through the trio of east-facing windows, illuminating the brushed brass fixtures and layered textures of wood, stone, and linen.

Parlor

Just beyond the kitchen, a secondary seating area provides an intimate escape—a place to sip coffee, read, or simply pause. Here, a pair of ivory lounge chairs cradle a low, sculptural coffee table. Above, twin dome pendants float gently like halos, while a large potted branch brings a seasonal, organic gesture into the room.

Passage

The central hallway acts as a connective gesture—a moment of architectural rhythm. Framed photography lines the walls in a quiet procession, while natural stone flooring underfoot subtly shifts texture as you move from room to room. A grand fireplace wrapped in rugged fieldstone punctuates the transition between the kitchen and living area, offering both visual weight and tactile warmth.

Entry

The entry sets the tone immediately—sculptural, grounded, and intentional. A dramatic round table rests atop a Persian flatweave rug, crowned with a terracotta vessel brimming with seasonal foliage. The archway frames the natural view beyond, and a winding staircase curls upward like a ribbon of white plaster and iron.

Materials & Palette

Autumn Hollow Residence layers natural materials with elemental grace: exposed wood beams, hand-troweled plaster, iron accents, and tactile upholstery. The palette moves in earthbound tones—ivory, sand, charcoal, deep walnut—with brass and marble lending quiet gleam. Textiles in wool, boucle, and linen enrich the sensory experience, while the restrained use of color allows form and texture to take the lead.

Rooted in Time and Place

What makes Autumn Hollow truly compelling is not just its beauty, but its calm. This is a home that doesn’t follow trends, but rather belongs—to its land, to its season, to the quiet rituals of daily living. It’s a space for stillness, shaped by light, texture, and timeless simplicity.
